BUBBLING WITH HEALTH
Spring water, rock water, quiet or roaring water. Be it mineral or thermal, water remains a vital element for the Valais. From time immemorial, men here sought to collect and store water to irrigate their vines, orchards and meadows. They built dams, aqueducts and bis-ses, that system of irrigation channels which curve around the mountainside (sometimes clinging to the very rock face) or gurgling along bucolic paths in the shade of the larches.
This wealth that has earned the Valais the nickname of “California of Switzerland” is today exploited to offer well-being and relaxation. Four major sites offer the highest quality of the hydrotherapy tradition.
