This is an event which has been handed down over time and which was an opportu-nity to further tighten the bonds between the people of the Valais and this dynamic Valdôtaine municipality.

ETROUBLES - THE VEILLÀ D’ETROUBLES

Thanks to the "Etroubles and Valais Art of Living" project – supported by the Municipality of Martigny, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation and the Valais Cantonal Bank which finds these initiatives important for the relations between Valaisans and Valdôtains (speakers of the Franco-Provençal dialect known as Valdôtain - Translator) – it has been possible to create a cultural and friendly contact, which opens new prospects for the future between these neighbouring areas. The Valais delegation was represented by Jean-Daniel Papilloud, Chairman of the General Directorate, Jean-Michel Pache, Director of the Mar-tigny branch, and Jean-Yves Pannatier, member of the BCVs Management, and Mrs. Flor-ence Gay-des-Combes for the Pierre Gianadda Foundation in Martigny.
