Dominique Pinault, a lawyer by training, comes from a great industrial family and three years ago he settled in Valais as the Manager of Transelectro. This is a subsidiary of Rexel, itself held 75 % by PPR, and it is based in Sion but covers the whole of French-speaking Switzerland with branches in Geneva, Lausanne and Fribourg. Its activities cater to all the requirements for transport, distribution and electrical-equipment products in the habitat, and tertiary sectors and industry.
